Item Types
Every item carries one or more types, shown in its tooltip. Customers buy by type, and the display case counts the main types.

- Types on items
A customer buys an item when one of its types is on their list and nothing on the item is on their refuse list. Some customers ask for one specific item instead of a type. These customers take any type:
These bring buyers from the display case.
Such as Caviar.
Such as Synaprest Injector.
Such as Electronic Parts (Hypertech).
Includes every empty liquid container.
Such as Nudka.
Such as Rampart Dual-Action Shotgun.
Every liquid container with liquid in it.
Such as Large Military Backpack.
Such as Hypertech Turbo Booster.
Such as Neural Core Module (Uncapped).
Such as 10mm Ammunition (AP).
Counts as Water in the display case.
The Lottery Representative pays out winning tickets. Customers who take any type buy any ticket.
Illegal goods. Customers who take no contraband refuse it. In the display case it brings a Security inspection. Under a weapon permit for its class, it becomes Restricted I, II or III: no longer contraband, with a Restricted markup.
Customers who buy Water refuse it, except Upper Levels customers and tourists. In the display case it can bring the Discerning Shopper.
The Private Security Contractor refuses it.
Gun buyers who settle for a melee weapon refuse it, except at the lowest gun tier.
Locked. The Case Enjoyer and a wanted criminal buy sealed crates. Unlocking one makes a plain container worth 15 Credits, no longer contraband or stolen.

No customer asks for these types. Their items sell through their other types, or to customers who take anything.
