Bosses
Bosses are the strongest creatures in Valen, and each one has its own rare drops. This guide shows how tough each boss is, how its fight changes, and what it can drop.
How boss fights work
1. Every boss has a level and a lot more health than normal creatures. The tables below go from the lowest level boss to the highest. 2. Bosses get tougher with more players. Each extra player fighting it adds a share of its health, up to a limit. 3. Most bosses enrage when their health drops low. Some bosses also change phase partway through the fight and start using new attacks. 4. Each boss has its own rare drops, often a weapon or a piece of gear.
Bosses
Armour shows how much armour the boss has against each damage type your weapons can deal. "Weak to" is the type with the least armour, so a weapon with that damage type hits it hardest.

Rare drops
These are each boss's rare drops with the game's base chance. Like rare fish, rare drops have bad-luck protection, so the chance rises the longer you go without one. Bosses also drop coins and common items, which are on each boss's own page.
Tips
Check a boss's "Weak to" before you go. The Combat Gear guide lists each weapon's damage type.
Bringing more players makes the fight faster, but the boss also gets more health for each extra player.
Some bosses move to their next phase once you kill the adds they summon (see Phases and enrage), so deal with the adds quickly.
Not confirmed yet
The game files give each boss an enrage health point, but how much faster an enraged boss attacks hasn't been checked in game. The game counts "extra players" in its own way, which may not be every player nearby. Silvissira's second phase starts at low health, but the files don't give the exact amount. Most bosses have no armour against Impact damage, but no weapon deals Impact damage yet, so the Bosses table only counts the damage types weapons actually deal. If you test any of this, let us know and we'll add it here.
