Diplocaulus is a small aquatic carnivore. It is notable for being carryable and providing significant weight reductions for key resources when transported. This makes it a popular choice for streamlining inventory loadouts during resource runs. More about taming the Diplocaulus

Diplocaulus must be knocked out before taming. Use a Bola or Bear Trap to immobilize it, then sedate it with Tranq Arrows or Darts. The best food is Simple Kibble, which provides the fastest taming. Raw Mutton also works if kibble is unavailable.

Taming takes about 37 minutes with Simple Kibble and requires no Narcotics. Use the calculator below for your settings.
