ARK 支援多種指令類型："Summon" 會在你的準心位置生成一個隨機等級的生物，"SpawnDino" 讓你可以設定座標和等級，而 "GMSummon" 則會生成一個強制馴服的生物。如果你想直接騎乘 X滄龍，GMSummon 是最佳選擇。在 PC 上按 Tab 鍵，或在主機上透過暫停選單來開啟管理員控制台。需要管理員權限。

基礎耐力值為 400，耐力儲備充足。近戰傷害起始為 105%，相當不錯，且會隨著等級提升而增加。X滄龍的基礎血量高達3,492，簡直就是個砲灰。基礎載重為 1300，運載能力出色。
馴服 X滄龍 很簡單：用足夠的昏迷值把它打暈，然後在它的背包裡放食物。最有效的馴服食物是 卓越飼料，每餵一次能提供最高的親和力。
馴服後，X滄龍 可以提供安全且高效的水下移動，實用性不錯。它會經過懷孕期後直接產下活體，讓繁殖變得簡單。在野外擊敗一隻可獲得 15 點基礎經驗值。它可以在克隆室以 0.88 元素加上每等級 0.01 元素進行克隆。
