ARK 支援多種指令類型："Summon" 會在你的準心位置生成一個隨機等級的生物，"SpawnDino" 讓你可以設定座標和等級，而 "GMSummon" 則會生成一個強制馴服的生物。如果你想直接騎乘 閃角獸，GMSummon 是最佳選擇。在 PC 上按 Tab 鍵，或在主機上透過暫停選單來開啟管理員控制台。需要管理員權限。
閃角獸 是 ARK: Survival Ascended 中可馴服的草食生物。它屬於肩寵類別。
近戰傷害起始為 100% - 傷害輸出穩定，且會隨著等級提升而增加。閃角獸 的基礎血量為 115，屬於玻璃砲型的脆皮。基礎耐力為180，閃角獸有還不錯的持續力。基礎重量為 100，代表平均的負重能力。
這是一種被動馴服生物：不需要使用麻醉劑。靠近它時不要驚嚇到它，然後從你的最後一個熱鍵槽餵食食物。它喜歡的食物是 Z異種植物種子。
馴服後，閃角獸 可以幫助你採集資源，讓種田變得更快。它會經過懷孕期後直接產下活體，讓繁殖變得簡單。它可以在克隆室以 0.05 元素加上每等級 0.01 元素進行克隆。
