ARK 支援多種指令類型："Summon" 會在你的準心位置生成一個隨機等級的生物，"SpawnDino" 讓你可以設定座標和等級，而 "GMSummon" 則會生成一個強制馴服的生物。如果你想直接騎乘 迅猛龍，GMSummon 是最佳選擇。在 PC 上按 Tab 鍵，或在主機上透過暫停選單來開啟管理員控制台。需要管理員權限。

迅猛龍的基礎血量是200，不算特別抗打。近戰傷害起始為 100% - 傷害輸出穩定，且會隨著等級提升而增加。基礎耐力為150，迅猛龍有還不錯的持續力。基礎載重 140，載重能力普通。
馴服 迅猛龍 很簡單：用足夠的昏迷值把它打暈，然後在它的背包裡放食物。餵食 簡易飼料 可以獲得最快的馴服速度和最高的效果加成。
馴服後，迅猛龍可以幫助採集資源，讓你不用花時間慢慢採。繁殖會產下受精蛋，孵化溫度需在 20°C, 28°C 之間。在野外擊敗一隻可獲得 3 點基礎經驗值。它可以在克隆室以 0.23 元素加上每等級 0.01 元素進行克隆。
