Once the hut is built, place the JVH Umbrella tree under the hut, surrounding the pillar. The tree can be increased in size in the radial wheel, hiding the pillar.

It's a little tricky but works. The Dreadnaughtus continuously wiggles around. Timing is key. Simply line up the foundations with the platform edges. Haven't tested the snapping to the platform but did line it up.
