The Snow Owl is a flyer carnivore that serves as a healer in ARK. It provides healing support to nearby survivors and tamed creatures through its unique abilities. This makes it valuable for prolonged expeditions or defensive setups where sustained health recovery is needed.

It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment.

More about taming the Snow Owl

Tame the Snow Owl using knockout methods. Use a Snow Owl with a Chain Bola, Bear Trap, or Large Bear Trap to immobilize it. Apply sedation with Tranq Arrows from a Bow, Crossbow, or Compound Bow, or use a Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Dart.

Feed it Superior Kibble for the fastest taming. Raw Mutton also works well. The process takes about 8 minutes with Superior Kibble and no Narcotics needed. Use the calculator below for your settings.
