Simply place the fishing hut and add the pier you may need. You may need to build a long pier depending on the depth of the water, then snap the hut to it as the Tek base goes deep.

It's a little tricky but works. The Dreadnaughtus continuously wiggles around. Timing is key. Simply line up the foundations with the platform edges. Haven't tested the snapping to the platform but did line it up.
