Overview
VR Ferox is a carnivore variant with a unique role in gameplay. It is tamed via knockout and excels in combat due to its high damage output against other dinos. The creature can be airlifted by Quetzal or Tusoteuthis for rapid deployment in raids or fast travel across maps. It is primarily used for offensive pushes where its damage bonuses are most effective.

More about taming the VR Ferox
VR Ferox must be knocked out before taming. The best food is Simple Kibble, which provides the fastest taming with high affinity. Raw Mutton also works if Simple Kibble is unavailable. Use a Chain Bola or trap to immobilize it, then sedate with Tranq Arrows from a Crossbow or Tranquilizer Darts from a Longneck Rifle. About 7 units of Simple Kibble are needed. Taming takes around 10 minutes. Use the calculator below for your settings.
