More about the Tapejara
Generate spawn commands for the Tapejara below - customize level, tame status, and variant. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. For a ready-to-ride Tapejara, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Tapejara as a tamable, flying, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. Classified under the Flyer group.
With 250 base Stamina, the Tapejara has moderate endurance. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it solid damage output. The Tapejara has 325 base Health - decently sturdy. A base Weight of 280 means good carrying capacity.
To tame the Tapejara, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Feed it Superior Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
After taming, the Tapejara is a versatile flyer useful for scouting, traversal, and light transport. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 29°C–32°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 3 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
