More about the Solwyn
Use the generator below to create admin commands for spawning the Solwyn in ARK: Survival Ascended. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. For a ready-to-ride Solwyn, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Solwyn as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It falls within the DMG classification.
Its base Stamina of 400 gives it solid stamina reserves. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it solid damage output. With 650 base Health, the Solwyn is solidly tanky. A base Weight of 375 means a solid weight pool.
To tame the Solwyn, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Feed it Raw Mutton for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
After taming, the Solwyn is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. A wild Solwyn is worth 6 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.58 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
