Generate spawn commands for the R-Quetzal below - customize level, tame status, and variant. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed R-Quetzal immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
The R-Quetzal, a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It falls within the Variant classification.
With 1,164 base Health, the R-Quetzal is impressively tough. With 105% base Melee Damage, the R-Quetzal has decent hitting power. Stamina sits at 800 base, providing outstanding staying power. Weight capacity starts at 800, giving it massive inventory space.
You'll need to knock the R-Quetzal unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. For best results, use Exceptional Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the R-Quetzal is prized as a flying transport, capable of hauling large inventories over long distances. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 5°C and 6°C. A wild R-Quetzal is worth 18 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.98 Element plus 0.1 Element per level.
