More about taming the Iguanodon

Taming an Iguanodon requires knocking it out. The best food is Simple Kibble, which provides the fastest taming effectiveness. Mejoberry also works well if kibble is unavailable. Use a Bola, Bear Trap, or Plant Species Y to immobilize it before sedation. Effective KO weapons include the Bow with Tranq Arrows, Crossbow, or Longneck Rifle. The process takes about 13 minutes. Experience

The Iguanodon gathers Berries, Seeds, and Fiber at 10× the normal rate. It harvests Wood at 10× efficiency, making it excellent for lumber runs. Its high vulnerability to Instant HurtDinos means it should avoid combat. Use it under the protection of tankier mounts. It can be carried by Argentavis for aerial logistics. Its fire resistance makes it suitable for volcanic zones.

This page details the Iguanodon's taming, breeding, harvesting, and combat data. For precise calculations, refer to the taming calculator, breeding calculator, and spawn map.
