The Glowtail, a tamable, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps.
Stamina sits at 100 base, providing low stamina reserves.With 100% base Melee Damage, the Glowtail has respectable melee power.With 115 base Health, the Glowtail is extremely fragile.It carries 70 base Weight - not built for hauling.
The Glowtail is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out.Its preferred food is Basic Kibble.
Once tamed, the Glowtail is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools.It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 30°C and 34°C.Defeating one in the wild grants 2 base XP.It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.05 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
