After a successful mate, the VR Parasaur lays a fertilized egg. Incubation temperature must stay between 24°C and 28°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
After hatching or birth, the baby VR Parasaur matures requiring significant patience, reaching adulthood in about 1 day and 2 hours at 1x maturation. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Raising a baby VR Parasaur involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~159 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~11h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~13h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Don't skip imprinting - each successful imprint boosts the VR Parasaur's stats, and hitting 100% grants a 30% combat bonus when the imprinter rides it. Imprint requests include cuddling, walks, and specific kibble - check the wiki for which kibble to stockpile.

Its base Stamina of 1000 gives it outstanding staying power. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the VR Parasaur brings decent hitting power to the table. With 160 base Health, the VR Parasaur is not particularly tanky. It carries 100 base Weight - average weight tolerance.
The VR Parasaur cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 24°C and 28°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.14 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
