Breeding the Rift Sarco produces fertilized eggs that require careful temperature control. Incubation temperature must stay between 30°C and 34°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 2 hours and 29 minutes.
After hatching or birth, the baby Rift Sarco matures slowly, reaching adulthood in about 1 day and 22 hours at 1x maturation. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~278 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~23h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Rift Sarco gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Rift Sarco babies through all three growth stages. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~278 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.

At 400 base HP, the Rift Sarco is reasonably durable. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Rift Sarco has decent hitting power. Stamina sits at 450 base, providing good endurance. Weight capacity starts at 300, giving it a solid weight pool.
The Rift Sarco is a wild creature that cannot be tamed through conventional methods. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 30°C and 34°C. Killing a wild Rift Sarco yields 5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.22 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
