The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Kathreptis with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Kathreptis immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
The Kathreptis, a tamable, aquatic, piscivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps.
With 320 base Stamina, the Kathreptis has moderate endurance. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Kathreptis brings respectable melee power to the table. The Kathreptis has 800 base Health - quite durable. It carries 250 base Weight - generous inventory space.
The Kathreptis is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out.
Once tamed, the Kathreptis is a versatile aquatic mount for underwater exploration and resource gathering. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between -75°C and 75°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 12 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.37 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
