You'll need to knock the Dimorphodon unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. For best results, use Raw Mutton - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the Dimorphodon is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 35°C and 38°C. Killing a wild Dimorphodon yields 2 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
