Generate spawn commands for the Aberrant Anglerfish below - customize level, tame status, and variant. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. For a ready-to-ride Aberrant Anglerfish, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Aberrant Anglerfish as a tamable, aquatic, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Variant category.
Its base Stamina of 240 gives it decent staying power. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. Health-wise, the Aberrant Anglerfish sits at 450 base, making it reasonably durable. It carries 350 base Weight - a solid weight pool.
To tame the Aberrant Anglerfish, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Regular Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the Aberrant Anglerfish is well-suited for deep-sea exploration, cave diving, and ocean resource runs. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a -75°C–75°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 8 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.17 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
