Generate spawn commands for the Megalosaurus below - customize level, tame status, and variant. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. For a ready-to-ride Megalosaurus, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
The Megalosaurus is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. At 1,025 base HP, the Megalosaurus is solidly tanky. Stamina sits at 300 base, providing moderate endurance. It carries 300 base Weight - a solid weight pool.
The Megalosaurus is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Superior Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the Megalosaurus is a versatile tame with a balanced stat spread, useful in a variety of roles. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 26°C–32°C temperature window. A wild Megalosaurus is worth 25 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.34 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
