This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot.

As a tame, the Ember Crystal Wyvern works well as a reconnaissance mount, offering fast travel and a bird's-eye view of the terrain. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 75°C–85°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 15 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.85 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
