Disciples wearing lion dance heads, their martial techniques derived from the movements of lion dance. In battle, they bound and charge in the guise of an auspicious lion, and can suddenly breathe flames from its mouth like a ferocious beast.
Lion dance is meant to transform the performer’s spirit into that of the lion. Transcension instead traps that spirit beneath the lion head and turns it toward killing.
As their spirit gradually withers, their bodies shrink with it. In battle, they often become confused and disoriented, sometimes unable to tell friend from foe and attacking their own companions.
