The Yutyrannus reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 32°C and 34°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 4 hours and 59 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~7 days and 17 hours (1x rate), progressing at a glacially slow pace - plan for a multi-day commitment. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~1111 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~74h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~93h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Yutyrannus gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

The Yutyrannus is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. The Yutyrannus has 1,100 base Health - impressively tough. With 420 base Stamina, the Yutyrannus has good endurance. A base Weight of 500 means massive inventory space.
The Yutyrannus is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Extraordinary Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the Yutyrannus is a versatile tame with a balanced stat spread, useful in a variety of roles. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 32°C–34°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 30 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.94 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
