The VR Megatherium is a tamable, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Variant group.
The VR Megatherium has 740 base Health - quite durable. Melee starts at 100% - respectable melee power that scales with level-ups. Stamina sits at 400 base, providing respectable staying power. Weight capacity starts at 725, giving it massive inventory space.
The VR Megatherium is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Superior Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
As a tame, the VR Megatherium excels at logistics - load it up and move materials where they're needed. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
