The Kathreptis is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out.
Once tamed, the Kathreptis is a versatile aquatic mount for underwater exploration and resource gathering. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between -75°C and 75°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 12 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.37 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
