How it plays

Playbook

Cube seals you or an ally inside an invulnerable block of ice. It is the third Frost spell, unlocked at level 12, with a 20 second cooldown. Hold the attack button while casting to cancel the initial cast animation and make the cube appear sooner.

Strategy

Cube is a defensive cooldown, not a damage spell. Freeze a teammate who is about to go down and the incoming hit lands on ice instead. On yourself it buys the few seconds you need to survive a burst you cannot outrun.

Strengths

A short 20 second cooldown; full invulnerability while the cube holds; faster deployment by holding attack during the initial cast.

Weaknesses

Affects one target, so it does nothing about the rest of the wave
It does no damage of its own
