GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Megaloceros immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Megaloceros is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Megaloceros brings respectable melee power to the table. Health-wise, the Megaloceros sits at 300 base, making it reasonably durable. With 280 base Stamina, the Megaloceros has decent staying power. It carries 220 base Weight - a reasonable inventory size.
Taming the Megaloceros requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Feed it Simple Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Megaloceros can serve multiple roles depending on how you level its stats after taming. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. A wild Megaloceros is worth 4 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.36 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
