Found throughout the ARKs, the Istiophorus is an aquatic, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Its base Stamina of 110 gives it limited endurance. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Istiophorus brings decent hitting power to the table. At 150 base HP, the Istiophorus is not particularly tanky. A base Weight of 18 means very limited carrying capacity.
The Istiophorus is a wild creature that cannot be tamed through conventional methods. Killing a wild Istiophorus yields 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 100 Element plus 5 Element per level.
