ARK: Survival Ascended features the Alpha Dakosaurus as an aquatic, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It falls within the Variant classification.

Its base Stamina of 400 gives it good endurance. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it respectable melee power. At 48,000 base HP, the Alpha Dakosaurus is extraordinarily tanky. A base Weight of 1300 means massive inventory space.

The Alpha Dakosaurus is a wild creature that cannot be tamed through conventional methods. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Killing a wild Alpha Dakosaurus yields 1600 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.88 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
