Breeding produces live offspring - no egg management needed. Gestation takes approximately 4 hours at default rates.
After hatching or birth, the baby VR Onyc matures slowly, reaching adulthood in about 1 day and 4 hours at 1x maturation. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~168 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~11h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~14h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Don't skip imprinting - each successful imprint boosts the VR Onyc's stats, and hitting 100% grants a 30% combat bonus when the imprinter rides it. Keep various kibble types on hand, as imprint requests are randomized between cuddles, walks, and kibble feeding.

With 100% base Melee Damage, the VR Onyc has decent hitting power. Health-wise, the VR Onyc sits at 250 base, making it relatively fragile. Its base Stamina of 100 gives it limited endurance. Weight capacity starts at 50, giving it minimal inventory space.
The VR Onyc is a wild creature that cannot be tamed through conventional methods. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.02 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
