Unlike knockout tames, the Tridacna must be fed by hand while conscious. Approach slowly and avoid sudden movements. There's a ~10-second cooldown between feedings, so patience is essential.

The Tridacna is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Its base Stamina of 100 gives it tires quickly. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. At 75 base HP, the Tridacna is glass-cannon fragile. It carries 600 base Weight - excellent carrying capacity.
Taming the Tridacna doesn't require unconsciousness. Instead, sneak up to it and hand-feed its preferred food.
After taming, the Tridacna excels at logistics - load it up and move materials where they're needed. Killing a wild Tridacna yields 2 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.69 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
