ARK: Survival Ascended features the Aberrant Parasaur as a tamable, herbivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Variant category.
Its base Stamina of 450 gives it respectable staying power. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it respectable melee power. Starting at 200 Health, it's not particularly tanky. Weight capacity starts at 480, giving it generous inventory space.
To tame the Aberrant Parasaur, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Feed it Basic Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Aberrant Parasaur can serve multiple roles depending on how you level its stats after taming. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 24°C–28°C temperature window. A wild Aberrant Parasaur is worth 1 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.14 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
