The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Megalania with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Megalania immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Megalania is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Its base Stamina of 400 gives it good endurance. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Megalania has respectable melee power. With 480 base Health, the Megalania is decently sturdy. Weight capacity starts at 400, giving it good carrying capacity.
You'll need to knock the Megalania unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Extraordinary Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
As a tame, the Megalania is a versatile tame with a balanced stat spread, useful in a variety of roles. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 29°C and 35°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 2 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.85 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
