The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Mantis Shrimp with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Mantis Shrimp immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Mantis Shrimp is a tamable, piscivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Its base Stamina of 180 gives it moderate endurance. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Mantis Shrimp brings decent hitting power to the table. With 40 base Health, the Mantis Shrimp is very frail. It carries 45 base Weight - very limited carrying capacity.
The Mantis Shrimp is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Raw Supreme Fish Meat.
Once tamed, the Mantis Shrimp is a versatile tame with a balanced stat spread, useful in a variety of roles. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 25°C and 30°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.84 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
