The Basilisk is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Starting at 2,750 Health, it's extremely durable. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. Its base Stamina of 650 gives it exceptional endurance. Weight capacity starts at 2200, giving it massive inventory space.
This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Golden Hesperornis Egg.
As a tame, the Basilisk is best used as a pack animal, hauling large amounts of resources between locations. Killing a wild Basilisk yields 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.78 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
