The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Megatherium with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). For a ready-to-ride Megatherium, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
The Megatherium is a tamable, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. With 740 base Health, the Megatherium is impressively tough. Its base Stamina of 400 gives it good endurance. Weight capacity starts at 725, giving it excellent carrying capacity.
The Megatherium is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. For best results, use Superior Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
As a tame, the Megatherium is best used as a pack animal, hauling large amounts of resources between locations. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Defeating one in the wild grants 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
