ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Aberrant Araneo immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Aberrant Araneo is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.
At 150 base HP, the Aberrant Araneo is not particularly tanky. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Aberrant Araneo brings decent hitting power to the table. With 100 base Stamina, the Aberrant Araneo has tires quickly. It carries 100 base Weight - average weight tolerance.
Taming the Aberrant Araneo requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. For best results, use Simple Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the Aberrant Araneo can serve multiple roles depending on how you level its stats after taming. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 4°C and 12°C. Killing a wild Aberrant Araneo yields 2 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.04 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
