Tame Yutyrannus using the knockout method. Use a Yutyrannus to immobilize it with a Chain Bola or trap it in a Bear Trap or Large Bear Trap. Sedate it with Tranq Arrows from a Bow or Crossbow, or use a Fabricated Sniper Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts. Feed it Raw Prime Meat or Extraordinary Kibble for faster taming. Combat notes
Yutyrannus has a severe weakness to spike walls, taking +400% more damage. It also takes +120% more damage from instant-damage sources. Explosions and melee attacks from metal weapons are also highly effective. Avoid using mining drills, as it is completely resistant to their damage.
The head has a damage multiplier of 1.5x, making headshots effective for faster knockout. Target the head when sedating with ranged weapons.
