VR Mantis

Overview

VR Mantis is a carnivorous variant creature. It is tamed passively and reduces the weight of inventory items while carried by certain creatures. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment. This makes it useful for mobile combat support where weight reduction enhances transport efficiency.

The VR Mantis does not gather resources while ridden and is primarily used for its passive taming and transport synergy.

More about taming the VR Mantis

VR Mantis is passively tamed by feeding it. The best food is Deathworm Horn, which provides the fastest taming. Woolly Rhino Horn also works but is significantly slower. No narcotics are needed during the process. Taming takes about 5 minutes using 8 Deathworm Horns at level 150 on official settings. Use the calculator below for your settings.
