More about the VR Karkinos
Use the generator below to create admin commands for spawning the VR Karkinos in ARK: Survival Ascended. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. For a ready-to-ride VR Karkinos, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the VR Karkinos as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. Classified under the Variant group.
Its base Stamina of 600 gives it massive stamina reserves. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. At 1,200 base HP, the VR Karkinos is among the tougher creatures. A base Weight of 800 means excellent carrying capacity.
To tame the VR Karkinos, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Exceptional Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the VR Karkinos has the carrying capacity to serve as a reliable transport mount for heavy loads. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Killing a wild VR Karkinos yields 6 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.5 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
