Found throughout the ARKs, the Tropical Crystal Wyvern is a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.
With 1,295 base Health, the Tropical Crystal Wyvern is extremely durable. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Tropical Crystal Wyvern has solid damage output. Its base Stamina of 325 gives it decent staying power. Weight capacity starts at 300, giving it a solid weight pool.
Taming the Tropical Crystal Wyvern doesn't require unconsciousness. Instead, sneak up to it and hand-feed its preferred food. Its preferred food is Primal Crystal.
After taming, the Tropical Crystal Wyvern is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 75°C and 85°C. Killing a wild Tropical Crystal Wyvern yields 15 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.85 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
