More about the Terror Bird
Use the generator below to create admin commands for spawning the Terror Bird in ARK: Survival Ascended. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Terror Bird immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Terror Bird is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Misc group.
Stamina sits at 160 base, providing decent staying power. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Terror Bird brings decent hitting power to the table. At 270 base HP, the Terror Bird is on the squishy side. It carries 120 base Weight - a reasonable inventory size.
Taming the Terror Bird requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. For best results, use Regular Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the Terror Bird earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 20°C and 28°C. Killing a wild Terror Bird yields 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.36 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
