More about the Stegosaurus
Use the generator below to create admin commands for spawning the Stegosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Stegosaurus immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Stegosaurus is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Soaker category.
Starting at 650 Health, it's impressively tough. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Stegosaurus brings decent hitting power to the table. With 300 base Stamina, the Stegosaurus has average stamina. A base Weight of 500 means massive inventory space.
Taming the Stegosaurus requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. For best results, use Regular Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the Stegosaurus is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 22°C and 28°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.29 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
