During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

More about breeding the Revenant Direwolf

The Revenant Direwolf gives live birth after mating, skipping the egg-incubation step entirely. Gestation takes approximately 4 hours and 12 minutes at default rates.

The baby Revenant Direwolf takes approximately 2 days to fully mature at default rates - slowly. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.

Each baby inherits stats from both parents with a chance of mutation - +2 wild levels to a random stat plus a color change. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

Raising a baby Revenant Direwolf involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~292 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~24h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Revenant Direwolf gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising Revenant Direwolf babies through all three growth stages. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~292 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.

The multiplier feature helps plan large-scale Revenant Direwolf raises by totaling food across all babies. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.

Found throughout the ARKs, the Revenant Direwolf is a carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.

With 260 base Stamina, the Revenant Direwolf has decent staying power. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Revenant Direwolf brings solid damage output to the table. The Revenant Direwolf has 330 base Health - decently sturdy. It carries 170 base Weight - modest carrying capacity.

The Revenant Direwolf cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Killing a wild Revenant Direwolf yields 6 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.58 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
