ARK: Survival Ascended features the Pirate Pegomastax as a herbivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It falls within the Variant classification.

Health-wise, the Pirate Pegomastax sits at 6,000 base, making it an absolute bullet sponge.

The Pirate Pegomastax cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 28°C–32°C temperature window. A wild Pirate Pegomastax is worth 0.5 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
