More about the Oviraptor
Use the generator below to create admin commands for spawning the Oviraptor in ARK: Survival Ascended. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). For a ready-to-ride Oviraptor, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Oviraptor as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Farmer category.
Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. The Oviraptor has 140 base Health - glass-cannon fragile. Its base Stamina of 120 gives it tires quickly. A base Weight of 100 means modest carrying capacity.
To tame the Oviraptor, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Extraordinary Dinosaur Egg is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the Oviraptor earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 26°C–30°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.6 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
