More about the Mantis

Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. For a ready-to-ride Mantis, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Mantis as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Farmer category.
Its base Stamina of 150 gives it average stamina. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. With 275 base Health, the Mantis is on the squishy side. A base Weight of 220 means a reasonable inventory size.
The Mantis is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Deathworm Horn.
Once tamed, the Mantis is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 35°C–38°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.79 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
