More about the Maewing
Use the generator below to create admin commands for spawning the Maewing in ARK: Survival Ascended. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Choose between Summon for quick spawns, SpawnDino for precise placement, or GMSummon for instant tamed creatures. For a ready-to-ride Maewing, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the Maewing as a tamable, omnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. Classified under the Breeding group.
Health-wise, the Maewing sits at 700 base, making it quite durable. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. Stamina sits at 450 base, providing solid stamina reserves. It carries 400 base Weight - a solid weight pool.
To tame the Maewing, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Basic Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the Maewing is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 22°C–26°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.31 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
