Lumina taming calculatorPassive

Passive taming is the method for the Lumina: get close without aggroing it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. There's a ~10-second cooldown between feedings, so patience is essential.

More about taming the Lumina

Use the calculator results to plan your tame - they show the exact time, food quantity, and bonus levels for the Lumina based on your settings.

ARK: Survival Ascended features the Lumina as a tamable, flying, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild.

With 650 base Stamina, the Lumina has massive stamina reserves. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it respectable melee power. Health-wise, the Lumina sits at 800 base, making it quite durable. Weight capacity starts at 350, giving it a solid weight pool.

This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Raw Mutton.

As a tame, the Lumina works well as a reconnaissance mount, offering fast travel and a bird's-eye view of the terrain. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a -90°C–-80°C temperature window. Killing a wild Lumina yields 20 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.82 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
